As you can see from our web site, Weigel MEPF�s workload is very diverse and it will become more so as we grow. As a result, all of us have to wear many different hats. We are currently looking for dedicated, hardworking people who are experienced and/or willing to grow in many directions.
The following are full-time position descriptions that we currently have:
Engineer:
Need BS or equiv. in EE and knowledge of design of Electrical Distribution Systems (Electronic Engineers need not apply) and Fire Protection Systems; PE a plus; DDC system knowledge a plus.
AutoCAD Drafter:
Min. of 5 years experience drafting facility systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) utilizing AutoCAD; Prior use of drafting standards a must; AutoDesk certification a plus .
Electricians:
Min. of 5 years experience installing/maintaining/troubleshooting Electrical Distribution systems for facilities, industrial, and process equipment; Must have a working knowledge of Codes (CEC & CBC); Previous dealings with OSHPD/DSA a plus; DDC & low voltage controls system knowledge a plus; Formal technical training a plus; Leadership qualities a plus; California Electrician's certification a must.
Air Conditioning / HVAC Techs:
Min. of 5 years experience installing/maintaining/troubleshooting facilities, industrial, and process equipment (HVAC, Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, Towers, Chambers, Vacuum Systems, Cryogenics, Pneumatics, Controls, etc.); Must have a working knowledge of Codes (CMC, CPC, & CBC); Previous dealings with OSHPD/DSA a plus; DDC system knowledge a plus; Formal technical training a plus; Leadership qualities a plus; CFC certification a must.
Pipe Fitter / Installer:
Min. of 3 years experience fabricating/installing piping and piping system for HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems. Must be capable of layout from conceptual sketches and construction drawings. Must have a working knowledge of Codes (CMC, CPC, & CBC). Previous dealings with OSHPD/DSA a plus; Formal technical training a plus; ASME certification a plus; CFC certification a plus.
Helper / Utility Worker:
Entry level position in support of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work; Must have high school diploma or GED; Additional schooling/training a plus.
